Hello!
I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Computer Graphics Group at Charles University, and a co-founder of Additive Appearance, a spin-off company focusing on the research and development of high-quality full-color 3D printing. I am located in Prague, Czech Republic.
My main focus is on predictive rendering, which means computer-generated imagery that is as close to reality as possible. In particular, I specialize in researching light scattering, mainly subsurface scattering, translucency, and fluorescence. It has broad applications not only in traditional rendering, but it is also crucial in 3D printing, and in optics, biology, or medicine.
October 2024 - March 2025
In the period from October 2024 to March 2025, I am employed in Germany at FAU under prof. Tim Weyrich. I work on material measurements with focus on svBRDF, and co-teach the Generative Materials Project.
